3. Handlebar Post and Tension Control Knob Installation
Remove one M8x15 Bolt (22), Ø20xØ8 Curve Washer (30), four M8x10 Bolts (15) and
Ø16xØ8x1.5 Washers (16) from the Main Frame (41).
Slide the Handlebar Post Cover (19) up to the Handlebar Post (8).
Insert the Tension Cable (10) through into the bottom hole of Handlebar Post (8) and pull it
out from the square hole of Handlebar Post (8).
Connect the Sensor Wire (31) from the Main Frame (41) to the Middle Section Sensor Wire
(17) from the Handlebar Post (8).
Insert the Handlebar Post (8) onto the tube of the Main Frame (41) and secure with one
M8x15 Bolt (22), Ø20xØ8 Curve Washer (30), four M8x10 Bolts (15) and Ø16xØ8x1.5
Washers (16) that were removed. Slide the Handlebar Post Cover (19) down to the Main
Frame (41).
Remove the Ø5 Big Washer (29) and M5x25 Bolt (67) from the Tension Control Knob (9).
Put the cable end of resistance cable of Tension Control Knob (9) into the spring hook of
Tension Cable (10) as shown in drawing A of figure 3. Pull the resistance cable of Tension
Control Knob (9) up and force it into the gap of metal bracket of Tension Cable (10) as
shown in drawing B of figure 3. Attach the Tension Control Knob (10) onto the Handlebar
Post (8) with the Ø5 Big Washer (29) and M5x25 Bolt (67) that were removed.
