3. Enter the first letter of the entry you are looking for and press the
key.
In the display, the entries will be shown, which start with that letter.
You can use the arrow keys
to scroll to the right contact.
4. You can call this contact as usual by picking up the handset or by pressing
the loudspeaker key
.
3.2.2 Scroll
To scroll through the phone book, from the state as shown in fig. 12, use the
arrow keys
to select the “Scroll” option and confirm with the
key.
If the phone is idle, you can press the arrow key
and confirm with the
key. With the arrow key
you can scroll to the right contact and call as usual.
3.2.3 New entry
To enter contacts into the phone book proceed as follows:
1. From the state as shown in fig. 12 use the arrow keys
to select the “New
entry” option and confirm with the
key. You will be asked for a name.
2. Enter the name using the key pad and press the
key.
3. Now enter the number and confirm with the
key.
The entry will then be saved in the phone book.
3.2.4 Edit
You can check, correct or add to your entries at any time.
1. From the state as shown in fig. 13 use the arrow keys
to select “Edit”.
All entries from A to Z will appear in the display.
2. Search for
the required contact and select it. If you now confirm with the
key, you can delete the name with the
key and change it, or just
add characters. By pressing the
key, you can skip the names and only
change the number.
After editing, the message “Entry changed” will appear on the display.
3.2.5 Delete
Just as you can correct your entries in the phone book, you can also delete them
as described below.
1. From the state as shown in fig. 13 use the arrow keys
to select
“Delete”. All entries in your personal phone book will now be shown on
the display (see fig. 14). You have the option of either deleting all entries
or just single entries.
