Preparation of steam
1. The same procedure should
be followed as for preparing a
cappuccino but with the ab-
sorption hole totally immersed.
2. After having used the steam
for the required time, turn the
hot water/steam knob
to
closed.
3. Set the steam switch
back
to its initial position. The or-
ange pilot light will switch off.
4. To make a coffee after using
the steam, see section 2B
priming.

1. Put a cup under the steam
tube .
2. Turn the hot water/steam knob
to open and turn on the cof-
fee switch
. Do the opposite
operation after having obtained
the required water.

1. Turn on the main switch

2. Press the steam switch
.
With the mobile filter holder
system, the pilot will light up
. With the fixed filter holder
system it will light up on acti-
vating the steam control
.
3. Wait for the orange pilot light
to switch off (approx. 1.5
minutes). This means the cof-
fee machine has reached the
ideal temperature.
4. Turn the hot water/steam knob
to open and allow the first
drops of water to come out. In
a few moments, only steam
will come out.
5. Put the tube
into the milk to
heat it so that the milk covers
exactly half the absorption hole
(never totally cover it). Do this
for the whole process. (see
picture 7).

6. Liquid is absorbed through the
hole and cream forms auto-
matically. The recipient should
be lowered gradually while the
milk emulsifies.
7. Turn the water/steam knob
to closed - and turn off the
steam switch
.
If you want a creamy cappucci-
no, use cold, fresh, whole milk.
If you want over
three
continu-
ous ser vings of cappuccino or
steam, or to make coffee imme-
diately after, see section 2B prim-
ing.
