Section O - Drive End Assembly (IEC Motor Mounting)

Page 34

Mounting  100L  &  112M  motor 

frames requires installing (6) dow-

el pins.

8mm or 5/16” Hex key

Hammer

Tools Needed

þ
þ

To install the mounting plate, align 

the  (4)  large  holes  on  the  plate 

with  the  (4)  outer  holes  on  the 

adapter.

Tighten  the  (4)  socket  head  cap 

screws  through  the  mounting 

plate into the adapter.

Insert the screws into the aligned  

mounting holes.

When properly inserted the dow-

el  pins  should  be  flush  with  the 

adapter.

To  install  the  dowel  pins,  insert 

them in the (6) unpainted adapter 

holes  and  firmly  pound  them  in 

with a hammer.

For  mounting  80  &  90  motor 

frames, The IEC adapter does not 

need any modification.

Mounting  the  132  motor  frame 

requires  an  additional  mounting 

plate due to the large diameter C-

face on the IEC 132 frame motor.
