Align  the  new  particulate  control 

ring notches with the containment 

shell’s  molded  keys  and  press  in 

place.

Attach  one  end  of  the  gasket  on 

the containment shell.

Slide your index fingers around the 

gasket, forcing it down while hold-

ing it in place with your thumbs.

Locate  the 

molded keys

  on  the 

containment shell.

Locate  the 

notches

  on  the  par-

ticulate control ring.

Pull the old particulate control ring 

out.

Check the gasket O-ring for dirt or 

deformation before placing on the 

impeller. Replace if the O-ring nec-

cessary.

With the small chanel lock pliers, 

grip the old particulate control ring 

near one of the notches.
