Using the system

CAMERAS
Not present
Accesses two sections:
•
“Real-time” - where the configured
cameras are listed
•
“Records”, that allow you to view
the snapshots recorded after the
occurrence of an event.
Refer to paragraph 5-26 Camera
access.
You access a section containing the list
of cameras configured in the AlienMo-
bile “Settings” section.
Refer to paragraph 5-26 Camera

SETTINGS
Accesses the sections for the settings
of the keypad and the SmartLiving
control panel:
•
“Alien” - provides information
regarding the setting-up of the
Alien touch screen interface you
are using.
It shows the model, firmware
revision and the address of the
keypad and built-in reader.
Furthermore, it allows you to
modify the screen by means of the
+ and - keys.
Refer to paragraph 5-8 Keypad
settings.
•
“Date/Time”, “Change PIN”,
“Tel.Numbers” - these sections
allow you to change the date and
time on the control panel clock, the
user PINs and the contact phone
numbers saved to the memory.
Refer to paragraphs 5-7, 5-9 and
5-10.
•
“Installer” - this section allows
access to the installer menu after
entry of a valid installer PIN, thus
putting the control panel in
programming mode.
•
“View Joy” - this section allows you
to work on the Alien keypad as if it
were a Joy keypad. Tap the ALIEN
button to step back to the standard
mode.

Accesses a section where it is possible
to:
•
select the language of the web
interface
•
select the home page of the web
interface, from the menu pages
and the first graphic map
•
send a test email from the
SmartLAN to an indicated recipient
•
upgrade the web server interface
•
open a section that shows the
meanings of the icons used by the
web interface
You can access the following sections:
•
“General” where you can change
the settings on the AlienMobile
application
•
“Panel” where you can configure
the SmartLiving control panel
associated with the current home
page
•
“Camera” where you can configure
the cameras viewable in the
section of the “Cameras” option.
•
“Help” where possible to view the
user’s guide.

SYSTEM
Accesses a section where it is possible to view the system parts:
•
List of ongoing faults
•
Power-supply voltage of the control panel
•
Information relating the GSM communications board

APPS
Accesses the applications of the Alien
touch screen interface:
•
“Photo frame” - application that
starts a slideshow of the images
contained in the inserted SD-card
(see paragraph 5-23 Photo frame).

“Voice functions” - accesses a
section where it is possible to
activate the control panel voice
board functions or the “Intercom”
function. Refer to paragraph 5-3
Voice box and intercom functions.
•
“Maps” - accesses the system by
means of the graphic maps (refer
to paragraph 5-24 Graphic maps).
•
“Alarm clock”,
•
“Memo” - application for the
programming and activation of
audible signalling and popups on
the Alien keypad (refer to
paragraph 5-25 Alarm clock and
memo).
