DNS
A domain name system (DNS) is a distributed database used for TCP/IP applications and
provides translation between domain names and IP addresses. DNS allows users to access
some applications by using easy-to-remember, meaningful domain names, which are then
translated into the correct IP addresses by a DNS server on the network. You can configure
a DNS server and the DNS relay service and view the configuration on the
DNS
page.

Follow these steps to configure a DNS server:
1.
Choose
Network > Network Services > DNS
to display
the
DNS
page.
2.
Enter the IP address of the DNS server.
3.
Click
Submit
to apply the configuration.
