7. From the left-hand panel, add the corresponding device and assign it the Modbus node configured in the
unit (see “2.3. Identifying inverters” ).

3.6. Remote connection from INGECON SUN Manager
Before connecting remotely, the following installation requirements must be fulfilled:
• For the card, connection to a local network and free outgoing connection to the Internet via
the UDP80 and/or UDP1194 port.
• For the PC, output to the Internet via the TCP22 port.
• Make sure that the ( default gateway ) is correct, otherwise the cards do not have remote
access. To obtain this information, access the network configuration properties of a PC that
is on the same network or request it from the network administrator.
The INGECON SUN Manager has the Ingeteam server Connection Test tool to check for the
compliance to these requirements. Follow these steps:
1. Open the INGECON SUN Manager software.
2. On the top menu Utils access Ingeteam server connection test .
3. Select the network interface from the drop-down list.
4. Click Start .
5. A test process starts followed by its results.
Follow the steps indicated below to connect remotely.
1. Create a new plant with the required name on the left-hand panel of the INGECON SUN Manager
software.
2. In the right-hand communication configuration panel, select Ethernet / SN as the means of
communication.
3. Enter the card serial number and password. This data is supplied with it.
On the AAX0058 card of the A network interface assigned to the BUS RS-485 A is mapped with the
serial number 06MxxxxxxAxx. The B network interface assigned to the BUS RS-485 B is mapped
with the serial number 06MxxxxxxBxx.
4. For operations concerning the installation’s inverters firmware update or history download press Connect ,
along with the Shift key. To make a standard Modbus TCP connection click Connect .
5. From the left-hand panel, add the corresponding device and assign it the Modbus node configured in the
unit (see “2.3. Identifying inverters” ).
