Remove and replace the keypad
The
keypad
(526-0088-xx) fastens to the inside of the top case. The assembly includes the keypad ECA,
the key set, and the keypad cable. The individual pieces remain attached when you remove the keypad.

Remove the following items:
Front bezel and front bezel vent (see page 10)
Focus and zoom rings (see page 8)
Top case (see page 19)

Place the top case face down on the work surface.

Remove the two black M3x6 Plastite Torx screws that fasten the keypad to the top case, and then
lift the keypad and cable out.
Assembly Notes
♦
When you install the keypad, make sure that the alignment pins in the top case fit into the holes at
each end of the keypad ECA.
♦
Torque the two black M3x6 Plastite Torx screws to 4 in.-lbs. (.452 Nm).
