Option
Systems featuring the PROFIBUS Master Option can be
differentiated by their modified "PROFIBUS" screen start-up
logo, depicted below.

The PROFIBUS Master Options are summarized in an
additional menu item contained in the Line Test menu. No
protocol is drawn up for the tests under this menu item.

NetTEST II
offers you the complete functionality of a
PROFIBUS DP-MONO-Master with extended diagnostic
functions. DP-MONO-Master stand for the fact that the
NetTEST II
cannot share the bus with other Masters.
For reasons of clarity the
NetTEST II
processes only
one
of
the DP Slaves on the PROFIBUS at a time.
