4.2 Ausgänge
1) Den Verstärker zur Beschallung oder ein anderes
nachfolgendes Gerät mit Line-Eingangspegel
(z. B. zweites Mischpult) an die Ausgangsbuch-
sen MASTER (19) anschließen.
2) Für Tonaufnahmen ein Aufnahmegerät an den
Ausgang REC (20) anschließen. Das Aufnahme-
signal ist unabhängig von der Stellung des
Masterreglers (12).
3) Über einen Stereo-Kopfhörer kann jeweils das
Signal der Eingangskanäle CH 1 – 4 vor den
Kanalfadern oder das Summensignal abgehört
werden (siehe Kapitel 5.3). Den Kopfhörer (Impe-
danz min. 8
Ω ) an die Buchse (16) anschließen.
4.3 Pultbeleuchtung und Netzanschluss
Für eine optimale Pultbeleuchtung kann an die
BNC-Buchse LAMP (5) eine Schwanenhalsleuchte
(12 V/5 W max.) angeschlossen werden, z. B. die
Leuchte GNL-204 oder GNL-205 von „img Stage
Line“. Die Leuchte wird mit dem Mischpult ein- und
ausgeschaltet.
Zuletzt den Stecker des Netzkabel (18) in eine
Steckdose (230 V~/50 Hz) stecken.
5 Bedienung
Vor dem Einschalten sollte der Regler MASTER (12)
auf Null gestellt werden, um Einschaltgeräusche zu
vermeiden. Dann das Mischpult mit dem Schalter
POWER (17) einschalten. Die Betriebsanzeige (6)
leuchtet. Anschließend die angeschlossenen Geräte
einschalten.
Die folgenden Bedienschritte dienen nur als Hilfestel-
lung, es sind auch andere Vorgehensweisen möglich.
5.1 Signale mischen oder ein- und ausblenden
1) Die an den Kanälen CH 1 – 4 angeschlossenen
Geräte mit den Eingangswahlschaltern (3) an-
wählen:
CH 1 und CH 2: PHONO oder LINE
CH 3: CD oder LINE
CH 4: LINE A oder LINE B
2) Den Regler MASTER (12) auf ca. 2 /

des Maxi-
mums aufziehen und die Lautstärke des ange-
schlossenen Verstärkers zur Beschallung so ein-
stellen, dass die folgenden Einstellungen gut zu
hören sind.
3) Mit den Kanalfadern (10) die Eingangssignale
miteinander mischen oder ein- und ausblenden.
Dabei die Kanäle nach dem Stereo-VU-Meter (4)
aussteuern. In der Regel wird eine optimale Aus-
steuerung erreicht, wenn das VU-Meter bei
durchschnittlich lauten Passagen Werte im 0-dB-
Bereich anzeigt.
Die Fader der nicht benutzten Kanäle immer
auf Null stellen.
VORSICHT Stellen Sie die Lautstärke der Audio-
anlage und die Kopfhörerlautstärke
nie sehr hoch ein. Hohe Lautstärken
können auf Dauer das Gehör schädi-
gen! Das Ohr gewöhnt sich an große
Lautstärken und empfindet sie nach
einiger Zeit als nicht mehr so hoch.
Darum eine hohe Lautstärke nach
der Gewöhnung nicht weiter erhöhen.
3 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Mischpult MPX-320 mit vier Stereo-Eingangs-
kanälen und einem Mikrofonkanal ist für vielfältige
DJ-Anwendungen im privaten und professionellen
Bereich geeignet.
Das Gerät kann sowohl frei aufgestellt als auch in
ein Bedienpult eingebaut werden. Es eignet sich
ebenso für die Montage in ein Rack (482 mm/19").
Für die Rackmontage wird eine Höhe von 3 HE (Hö-
heneinheiten) = 133,5 mm benötigt.
4 Mischpult anschließen
Vor dem Anschließen von Geräten oder vor dem
Ändern bestehender Anschlüsse das Mischpult und
alle anderen Audiogeräte ausschalten oder alle Aus-
gangssignale auf Null stellen.
4.1 Eingänge
1) Die Stereo-Tonquellen an die entsprechenden
Cinch-Eingangsbuchsen der Kanäle CH 1 – 4 an-
schließen (Buchse L = linker Kanal; Buchse R =
rechter Kanal):
– Geräte mit Line-Pegel-Ausgang (z. B. MiniDisc-
Recorder, CD-Spieler, Kassettenrecorder) an
die Buchsen LINE oder CD (21);
– Plattenspieler mit Magnetsystem an die Buch-
sen PHONO (22). Die Klemmschraube GND
(24) kann als gemeinsamer Massepunkt ge-
nutzt werden: Den Masseanschluss der Plat-
tenspieler mit der Klemmschraube verbinden.
2) Ein Mikrofon kann an die Buchse DJ MIC auf der
Frontseite (1) oder auf der Rückseite (23) ange-
schossen werden.
Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, übergeben Sie es zur
umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtli-
chen Recyclingbetrieb.

accordance with the following code:
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal in the plug which is
marked with the letter N or coloured black.
2. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
3 Applications
The mixer MPX-320 with four stereo input channels
and one microphone channel is suitable for various
private or professional DJ applications.
The mixer can either be placed as desired or be
installed into a console. It also allows installation into
a rack (482 mm/19"). For rack installation, a height
of 3 RS (rack spaces) = 133.5 mm is required.
4 Connecting the Mixer
Prior to connecting any units or to changing any
existing connections, switch off the mixer and all
other audio units or set all output signals to zero.
4.1 Inputs
1) Connect the stereo audio sources to the corre-
sponding phono input jacks of the channels
CH 1 – 4 (jack L = left channel; jack R = right
channel):
– units with line level output (e. g. minidisk re-
corder, CD player, cassette recorder) to the
jacks LINE or CD (21);
– turntables with magnetic system to the jacks
PHONO (22). The clamping screw GND (24)
can be used as a common ground: Connect
the ground connection of the turntables to the
clamping screw.
2) A microphone can be connected to the jack DJ
MIC on the front panel (1) or on the rear panel
(23).
4.2 Outputs
1) Connect the amplifier for PA application or an-
other subsequent unit with line input level (e. g.
second mixer) to the output jacks MASTER (19).
2) For audio recordings, connect a recorder to the
output REC (20). The recording signal is inde-
pendent of the position of the master control (12).
3) Via stereo headphones, it is possible to monitor
the signal of the input channels CH 1 – 4 respec-
tively ahead of the channel faders or the master
signal (see chapter 5.3). Connect the headphones
(minimum impedance 8
Ω ) to the jack (16).
4.3 Mixer illumination and mains connection
For an optimum mixer illumination, connect a goose-
neck light (12 V/5 W max.), e. g. the light GNL-204 or
GNL-205 from “img Stage Line”, to the BNC jack
LAMP (5). The light is switched on and off with the
mixer.
Finally connect the plug of the mains cable (18)
to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
5 Operation
Prior to switching on, set the control MASTER (12)
to zero to prevent switching noise. Switch on the
mixer with the POWER switch (17). The power LED
(6) will light up. Then switch on the units connected.
The following operating steps only serve as an aid;
you may also proceed differently.
5.1 Mixing signals or fading signals in and
out
1) Select the units connected to the channels
CH 1 – 4 with the input selector switches (3):
CH 1 and CH 2: PHONO or LINE
CH 3: CD or LINE
CH 4: LINE A or LINE B
2) Set the control MASTER (12) to approx. 2 /

maximum and adjust the volume of the amplifier
connected for PA application in such a way that
the following adjustments can be heard well.
3) With the channel faders (10), mix the input sig-
nals to one another or fade them in and out. Con-
trol the channel levels by means of the stereo
VU-meter (4). Usually, an optimum level control is
obtained when the VU-meter indicates values in
the 0 dB range at average volume.
Always set the faders of the channels which
are not used to zero.
CAUTION Never adjust the audio system or the
headphones to a very high volume.
Permanent high volumes may dam-
age your hearing! The human ear will
get accustomed to high volumes
which do not seem to be that high
after some time. Therefore, do not
further increase a high volume after
getting used to it.
If the unit is to be put out of operation de-
finitively, take it to a local recycling plant for
a disposal which is not harmful to the envi-
ronment.
