the right edge of the machine. If you cut very short pieces, please be careful that they are not dragged by the
blade or remain entangled with it.
To reach the maximum cutting capacity you have to remove the lower part of the mechanical device – picture
RI0437, No. 2 – that allows the fast drop of the sawframe, by unscrewing the two fixing screws.
15.4 - STOP / EMERGENCY STOP
The cycle can be stopped at any time:
-
with the emergency button - picture RI0416, No. 1 - the cycle stops immediately and no action is possible
before restoring it.
-
with the main switch located on one side of the control panel. The saw turns off.
-
in case of power shortage the main switch goes back to the 0 position because of the minimum tension coil
and it has to be switched back to the ON position to run the machine again
15.5 - HEAD ROTATION FOR MITRE CUTTING
To make cuts from 60 deg. right to 60 deg.left, the handle below the worktable, on the right side, must be loosened,
then move manually the sawframe until you reach the the angle required. Fasten the handle again.
The vice has to be moved to avoid colliding with the blade and/or the sawframe: loosen the handle below the vice
support– and move it horizontally along the slot. Fasten the handle again when the vice is in the correct position.
To make this operation easier we suggest to have no material on the worktable or clamped in the vice.
15.6 - OVERLOAD PROTECTIONS
The motor is protected against overheating by bi-metal thermo-protectors (placed directly inside the winding),
which stop the control circuit and switch off the light on the control board.
If you want to start again the machine, you have to wait till the temperature falls below the predetermined limit, then
you have to turn on again the general switch. In the meantime try to single out and eliminate what caused the
overheating, (for example, the blade is jammed into the material, the cutting speed is too high, the motor is in short
circuit, an so on).
When it seems like an inverter failure, you have to switch OFF the main switch, wait for a minute and restart by
pushing ON again.
16 - REGULATIONS (with machine turned off)
16.1 - Position of the vice handle: the handle for rapid displacement of the jaw can be turned around its own axle to
reduce the clamping stroke or correct its position: fasten the handle, pull it up and turn it according to your need while
the central screw is not moving, then press it down to connect it again with the vice carriage.
