You can also control how the vice operates thanks to the selector No. 20 (picture RI0421).
1) if it’s in the "middle position, the vice closes automatically at the beginning of the cutting cycle and opens again at
the end;
2) vice versa, if this selector in the "vice closed" position, in order to clamp the material before the start of the cutting
cycle you need to open the vice at the end of each cycle by turning the same selector.
3) it is forbidden to start cycle while this vice selector is on open vice position
15.2 - PREPARATION TO THE CUT
The standard blade allows to cut different sections of materials, thanks to the variable pitch, but it’s essential
to have the most suitable blade according to the characteristics of the material in order to get the best
performance out of the saw.
See the paragraph 10, “BLADE CHOICE”, for a correct selection.
a) place the bar a little bit before the cutting line.
b) verify that the handle under the worktable support is properly closed and hinders the rotation of the saw
frame; and the lever under the vice support do not allow vice sliding, right or left.
c) Turn on the main switch (picture RI0416, No.2), and restore the emergency button in case it’s been pushed
(picture RI0416, No. 1)
d) Start the oil pump by pushing the YELLOW button (picture RI0421, No. 6) and close the vice by means of the
proper selector (picture RI0421, No.10)
Make sure that the material is really clamped and that the clamping pressure is correct, i.e. it does not
cause material deformations.
e) place the front blade guide as close as possible to the material by loosening the upper handle (picture
RI0415, No. 5). Be certain that it doesn’t hit the material or the jaws when the sawframe moves. Always
fasten the handle before starting the cut.
15.3 - SEMIAUTOMATIC CYCLE
Position the material beyond the cutting line and clamp it, choose the blade speed and start the cycle by pushing the
button START, adjust the flow of coolant on the blade and start to cut, adjusting carefully the down-feed speed.
At the end of the cut the sawframe goes back, ending the cycle, thanks to an end-stroke placed on thright side, near
the tilting pin. Adjust the lever position to obtain the proper stop and lit of saw frame.
The electronic inverter (ESC) –as OPTION- allows to change continuously the number of revolutions of the blade
motor, to get a better cutting performance according to the material that is being cut.
While the motor is running, increase or decrease the speed by just turning the potentiometer located on the control
panel.
Support the bar properly on by both sides in order to avoid that it falls. We suggest to equip the saw with
roller tables on the unloading side if the cutting lengths are bigger than the distance between the blade and
