Access the Power Supply
Your system uses a triple-redundant hot-swappable power supply. You can replace a failed power supply
module without turning the system off.
Make sure you have a replacement power supply before starting this procedure. It is good practice to
keep a replacement power supply on hand.
WARNING
Unplug the power cord before removing the power supply.
Do not open the power supply casing. Power supplies can only
be accessed and serviced by a qualified technician from the
manufacturer.
1.
Locate the release tab on the left side of the power supply.
2.
Push the release tab to the right with your thumb to release the power supply from its locked
position.
3.
With the release tab engaged, pull on the D-Ring to remove the power supply from the chassis.
4.
Insert the new power supply, and press firmly to ensure it is securely in place.
