3. Enter a user name into the field
Name
. At the same time the name is
the login name at the matrix, if the Active Directory service is not
available.
4. Enter the complete domain name of the Active Directory user into the
field
Login Name
(e.g. [email protected]).
5. Enter the local password for the user into the field
Password
.
6. Save your settings.
The Active Directory can be used now.
Java Tool
To configure the synchronization to the Active Directory server, proceed
as follows:
1. Perform steps 1-3 as mentioned in the section
OSD
2. Select the tab LDAP under
System > Network
in the task area.
3. Activate the function
LDAP
.
4. Enter the respective IP address and port number into the field
LDAP Server
(default port number: 389).
5. Enter the LDAP
Base DN
into the respective field (e.g.
dc=example,dc=com).
6. Select
Definition > User
in the task area.
