3.12 Control Options via Management Software
3.12.1 Management Software Menu Structure
The menu structure of the management software is subdivided into various sections:

The following functions are available in most of the menus:

Confirm changes (temporary storage of the active configuration in the volatile
memory of the SNMP module)
Cancel
Reject changes
NOTICE
Possible loss of changes
By clicking the
Apply
button, changes are applied to the active configuration and saved in the volatile
memory of the SNMP module. In the event of a sudden power failure, these changes are lost. To save
changes permanently:
save the configuration changes into the active configuration (
Remote Save
, see chapter 5.7.1,
page 62) or perform a restart (see chapter 6.9.2, page 92).
