The
Evolve
300
CX
is
equipped
with
an
adjustable
‐
length
linkage
that
connects
the
stabilizer
flybar
to
the
main
rotor
blade
grips
for
the
upper
set
of
rotor
blades.
This
linkage
allows
you
to
adjust
the
‘tracking’
of
the
upper
main
rotor
blades
for
smoother
and
more
stable
flight
performance.
You
can
check
the
upper
main
rotor
blade
tracking
with
the
helicopter
on
the
ground
or
in
the
air
while
flying.
Also,
we
recommend
having
an
assistant
on
hand
to
help
‘sight’
the
blades
(especially
if
you’ll
be
checking
the
blade
tracking
while
flying).
CAUTION:
YOU
MUST
MAINTAIN
A
SAFE
DISTANCE
FROM
THE
HELICOPTER
(APPROXIMATELY
10
FEET/3
METERS
OR
MORE)
AND
WEAR
APPROPRIATE
EYE
PROTECTION
(SUCH
AS
SAFETY
GOGGLES)
WHEN
CHECKING
THE
UPPER
MAIN
ROTOR
BLADE
TRACKING.
To
check
the
tracking
raise
the
left
‐
hand/throttle
stick
slowly
to
increase
the
speed/RPMs
of
the
rotor
blades
until
just
before
the
helicopter
takes
off
(to
check
tracking
on
the
ground)
or
to
maintain
a
stable
hover
(to
check
tracking
while
flying).
Once
the
rotor
blades
have
been
brought
up
to
the
appropriate
speed/RPMs,
check
to
see
if
the
tips
of
the
upper
main
rotor
blades
are
tracking
in
the
same
plane
or
not.
