NAVIGATOR Pro additional board
To use the iDM single-room control, an additional
board must be connected to the touch display of NA-
VIGATOR 2.0. The Modbus cable must be connected
to the addional board. Now the touch display can also
be used for the iDM single-room control.
Heating circuit control module, internal
The internal expansion module permits the control of
two additional heating and/or cooling circuits via the
NAVIGATOR 2.0. Two mixers and the relevant
fl
ow
sensors, the o
ff
set roomstat and the heating circuit
pump can be directly connected on the expansion
PCB.
Heating circuit control module, external
The heating circuit control module external, enables
the regulation of three additional heating and/or coo-
ling circuits via NAVIGATOR 2.0. The heating circuit
control module external, allows three mixer circuits to
be connected to the respective heating circuit pumps,
fl
ow sensors and room units. Communication with the
NAVIGATOR 2.0 is e
ff
ected via a CAN bus connec-
tion. This allows the NAVIGATOR 2.0 to be placed
up to 300 m away. With cascade systems the usage
of the external heating circuit control module is not
possible.
EIB/KNX Module
The EIB/KNX module can be used to connect EIB/
KNX devices to the heat pump. The resulting EIB/
KNX-compliant heat pump can communicate with
other EIB/KNX devices, such as sensors and actua-
tors, via this module. This enables data such as tem-
perature, operating conditions, etc. to be exchanged
and processed between the devices.
Add-on module for Solar
The NAVIGATOR 2.0 enables a temperature di
ff
eren-
tial controlled solar charging. A layered solar injection
via a plate heat exchanger in the Hygienik is possible
with an additional solar plate.
7.7. Sensor design
The sensor positions are shown in the relevant instal-
lation diagram.
The position of the sensors are shown in the relevant
hydraulic scheme of the heat pump. Reliable func-
tioning can only be ensured by correct positioning
ensuring good heat transfer (heat conducting paste).
If necessary, the sensors can be extended using
appropriate cables. It must be ensured that the con-
nection is clean and corrosion-free.
Sensor lines should be run separately from power
supply cables (see EMC compatibility)!
Sensor equipment
The following sensors are included as standard or are
already
fi
tted and are necessary in all cases:
- Outdoor temperature sensor, B32
- Heating bu
ff
er sensor, B38
- Heating supply temperature sensor heating circuit
A (regulated), B51
- Sensor for the hot water station, B42
- Sensor for Hygienik, B41
Flow temperature sensor
The
fl
ow temperature sensor for the regulated hea-
ting circuit used are required in every case. It must
be
fi
tted onto the relevant
fl
ow line and connected
according to the connection plan.
The
fl
ow sensors for heating circuits C-G are connec-
ted to the relevant heating circuit expansion module.
(For more information, see installation instruction for
expansion module).
To extend the functionality of the Navigator control,
various additional modules can be purchased as
accessories and connected to the motherboard.
A standard sensor set is included in the
scope of delivery for the AERO SLM.
