6.4. Wall opening
The wall opening should be performed with a dow-
grade from the inside to the outside. In order to avoid
damage, the wall opening should be cushioned on
the inside or lined with a PVC pipe.
After completing the installation the wall opening
must be sealed on site using a suitable sealing mass
taking pertinent
fi
re regulations into account!
6.5. Installation of refrigerant connection
pipes
If the refrigerant connection piping is laid in the
ground, it have to be done in a protective tube. This
may be of a diameter of 150 mm for example, a PVC
tube. The refrigerant pipes in the house must not be
laid under plaster.
6.6. Impor tant infor mation about installati-
on of refrigerant pipes
The refrigerant pipe connections and the refrigerant
itself may only be handled by trained experts autho-
rised by iDM Energiesysteme GmbH.
The refrigerant
fl
ow through the indoor unit can lead to
fl
ow noises. The refrigerant pipes must be uncoupled
from the building and must not be laid under plaster.
Ensure that neither refrigerant-bearing or waterbea-
ring pipes run through the bedroom or living area.
The shut-o
ff
valves may only be opened before com-
missioning!

Electrical connection lines
The refrigerant pipes can be layed together with the electrical lines in one pipe with a minimum
diameter from 150 mm.
Ensure that neither refrigerant-bearing or water-bearing pipes run through the bedroom or living
area.
Only tools recommended for use in refrigeration may be used. (For example: bending wrench, pipe
cutter, deburrer and fl anging tool). Refrigerant pipes may not be sawn. It must be ensured during
all work that dirt, shavings, water, etc. do not enter the refrigerant pipes.
