Pre-Event
When an event occurs, enabling this option includes
the specified duration prior to the event in the event-
triggered recording.

: Select which cameras to apply Pre-Event to.

ips, Quality, Resolution:
The image quality can be
selectable from Very High, High, Standard and Basic,
and image resolution can be selectable from Very
High, High, and Standard.

Dwell
: Specify the duration of pre-event recording
data.

If no event mode schedule exists in the schedule, a
warning message prompting you to add an event
mode schedule will be displayed.

The warning message will appear even in
Time &
Event
mode.
Intelligent Codec
Enabling this option lowers bitrate.

Mode:
Select between CBR and VBR.

Compression Level:
Select compression level for
VBR and Dynamic ROI. Choose between 1 (Least
compressed) ~ 3 (Most compressed).

Dynamic GOP:
Lower bitrate when motion is
undetected.

Dynamic ROI:
Select
Motion
to keep bitrate high
for regions with motion detection. Select
Motion &
Detail
to keep bitrate high for regions with motion
detection or complicated details.

GOP (Group Of Pictures):
A group of compressed
image frames, which consists of I frame (one
complete image) and P frame (differences from the
previous frame only). Normally, since I frmae has
larger data size than P frame, lowering the I frame
generative frequency can lower the overall bitrate.
•
ROI (Region Of Interest):
An area to keep a higher
bitrate than other areas within a compressed image
frame.
•
ROI Zone View:
Display the regions with motion
detection or complicated regions with high bitrate.
Regions with high bitrate are displayed as green in
the zone view mode. Motion detection and tripzone
detection zone view functions do not operate when
this function is enabled.

Bitrate:
Display the bitrate of the data which is
currently being recorded.
•
When using Intelligent Codec, the start of some
function such as clip copy, can be changed to an
earlier point than the selected point.
