Elevator Floor Address Configuration
When the PRT-PX16 PGM Expander is operated in elevator floor control mode the switch positions 5,6,7 and 8
are turned on. The lower switch positions 1,2,3 and 4 select the address of the PGM Expander and the floors
that it will control. Reader 1 floor 1 starts at address 1 and reader 2 floor 1 starts at address 9.

To allow the elevator floors to be added in multiples of eight floors each PGM Expander can be
enabled in a split mode. This allows more flexible configuration. The split mode is a configuration
setting under the reader expander settings in the Protege System Management Suite and the keypad
programming menus.
