16. FLYWHEEL

16.3

Screw on flywheel removal tool finger
tight. Unscrew tool 1 1/2 turns leaving
approximately 1/8 inch (5 mm) space
between tool and flywheel.

Insert piston stop.

Remove flywheel nut, wave washer, and plain
washer.

16. This section covers the removal, inspection, and installation of the flywheel. Removal of

the starter and spark plug is requried. Refer to sections 6 and 8 if necessary.
