Remove starter pulley.

Inspect coil spring.
A. Replace if spring hook is damaged.
Attemping to re-bend the spring hook may
cause the hook to break off.
B. Carefully remove coil spring and housing
to prevent spring from unwinding.
8.8 Lubricate with lightweight oil.
8.9 Replace parts carefully.
