6. SPARK PLUG

6 

This section covers the removal, 
inspection, and installation of 
the spark plug.

6.1 

Remove the spark boot taking care 
not to pry or damage the wire. 

6.2 

Clean area around the spark plug 
to prevent debris from entering 
the cylinder.

6.3 

Remove the spark plug.

6.4 

Inspect the spark plug for proper 
size, gap and condition.

A  If dirty, clean with a wire brush 

as shown.
