Using the Settings Utility
4-3 Starting and Terminating the ICOM SL-1105
Utility
1.
Make sure the SL-1105 is inserted in to the PCMCIA card slot.
2.
Click <Start> and select [Icom SL-1105 Utility] from the [Program] menu. The
Utility starts up and an icon indicating that the Utility is running is displayed on
the task bar.

One of the following three icons is displayed to
indicate the status of the card.

This icon indicates that the SL-1105 is inserted into the card
slot and the [Network Mode] is set correctly.

This icon indicates that the computer cannot recognize the
SL-1105. Possible causes include the driver being installed
incorrectly.

This icon indicates either that the [Network Mode] is not set
correctly for the wireless network being used or that the
SL-1105 is outside the wireless transmission area.
3.
Right-click the SL-1105 Utility icon on the task bar.
Select "Display Monitor" from the menu that appears.
