Channel names of up to 8 characters can be assigned
to each user and ITU channel. This may be helpful to
indicate the frequency used, ship name, and so on.
NOTE:
The display type must be set to “
CH-NAME
”
to display/program the channel names in the initial
set mode. (p. 52).
