Receiving a signal

Select the desired channel using [GRP] and [CH],
or the keypad.
• Turn the squelch function ON and OFF, or adjust the
squelch level as desired.

When a signal is received, the “
RX
” indicator ap-
pears and audio is heard from the connected
speaker.
• Rotating [VOL] to adjust the audio output level at this
step is recommended.
• The S-meter shows the received signal strength.
