The object of the game is to hit targets to score the most points possible using multipliers to increase
your score. The game can be played in either single training mode or competitive mode.
Points of the game:
● Arena Jumbotron - Players can compare their scores in competitive mode against others.
● Moving Targets - Red and Blue targets holes allow for point multipliers.
● LED RGB Tower - Attracts players to the game.
● Real Dodge ball – 24 real licensed dodge balls are used.
● Single or competition mode - Up to four players can join in, 2 on each side
● Power Requirements: 110v cabinet 8 AMPS, 220v cabinet 4 Amps required.
Theory of Operation:
The game has one main board (DB2034X) that has dual channel communication in a single wired
connection to communicate with the upper jumbotron display, the many target boards, and the two
player communication boards. Either of the four RJ45 connectors can be used. This board controls
the NEOPIXELS at P14 and RGB LED’s at P5 and P9 for the deluxe marquee model. J3 is the
audio line level out to the FE2006 amplifier. P15 controls two actuators wired in parallel using +12
volts.
Players and operators interact to the game through the DB2135X boards. Both boards have
dipswitches to configure which side (red or blue) they are installed in. Each board has two
communication connections at J2 and J4. They are RJ45 standard connections. P3 is used for the
UCL connection, coins, and ticket controls. P1 is used for Solo LEDs/button and Comp LED/button.
J6 has right LED/button and left LED/button connections. Both DB2135X boards (blue/left and red/
right) have the operator controls to program, see audits, enter diagnostics or reset settings. PROG,
SEL, UP, and DOWN buttons are used at blue side (left). The player buttons are also used during
Diagnostic, audits, and reset menus.
The jumbotron display is driven by WH2236X board. This board contains the programmed graphics
and texted used on the jumbotron. Twelve E01357 Dot matrix boards make up the display 6 per.
P1 and P2 connections drive the panels, 6 panels per assembly. A se5 VDC harness
powers the array which is fused by 6 amp Fast Blo located under the playfield accessed through a
panel.
The target boards (DB2033X) are linked in a daisy chain configuration. Each run connects to the
next target board. This is NOT is sequence to their locations. RJ45 connectors are color coded to
prevent the ability to loop back any chain connection. On power up, all target boards will report in to
the main board. Any board that does not respond will result in a COM error. Depending on their
location determines which connectors are used. In every configuration, P4 drives any display used.
P3 has RGB control, optic sensors, and switch inputs depending on location. P2 is for the target
motors (GF2008X) or the swing arm motor (FB2009DBX). J5 has more LED controls. A separate
+12 VDC harness powers all target boards and are fused by 6 AMP Fast Blo fuse either in the
playfield floor or at the front of the game.
All circuit boards can be upgraded by the operator with special files you copy onto a SDCARD. No
more swapping boards for program changes!
