CARE INSTRUCTIONS AND CLEANING:
1. Before cleaning, the oven must be
switched off and the power cord un-
plugged from the socket.
2. Keep the inside of the oven clean. Any
splashes of food or spilt liquids inside the
oven can be wiped away using a damp
cloth. Use a mild detergent if the oven is
very dirty. Avoid using sprays and strong
detergents as these can stain or discolour
the door, or cause it to lose its shine.
3. Clean the outside with a damp cloth.
Ensure that no water seeps into the vents.
This is to avoid damaging the components
inside the oven.
4. Wipe the door and window on both sides
regularly, as well as the seal of the door
and adjacent parts, in order to remove
spillages and splashes. Do not use
abrasive detergents.
5. Never allow the control panel to become
wet. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. When
cleaning the control panel, leave the door
open to avoid accidentally switching on the
microwave oven.
6. If any condensation collects inside or
around the outside of the oven door, it can
be wiped away using a damp cloth. This
can occur if the oven is used in an
environment of high humidity. This is
completely normal.
7. The glass turntable plate sometimes
needs to be removed and washed. Wash
the plate in hot water and soap.
8. The turntable roller ring and floor of the
oven must be regularly cleaned to avoid
unnecessary noise. Simply wipe the floor
of the oven using a mild detergent. The
turntable roller ring can be cleaned using
a mild soap solution or in a dishwasher.
When the turntable roller ring has been
removed from the oven for cleaning, it
must be put back in the correct position.
9. If any smell remains in the oven, you can
place the juice and peel of a lemon in 200
ml of water on a deep microwave-safe
plate. Run on full power for 5 minutes and
then dry using a damp cloth. If the oven
lamp needs to be replaced, contact an
authorised dealer.
10. The oven must be cleaned regularly to
remove any food residue. Failure to keep
the oven clean can lead to wear and tear
on the surfaces, which shortens the
lifespan of the oven and may result in
a hazardous situation.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
Normal
The microwave oven interferes with TV
reception: When the microwave oven is in
use, it may cause interference to radio and
TV reception. This is similar to the interference
caused by household electronic appliances,
e.g. food mixers, vacuum cleaners and
electric fans. This is normal.
Oven light dim: When cooking on low power,
the oven light may become dim. This is normal.
Condensation on door, hot air from vents:
Steam may come out of the food when cooking.
Most of this will escape through the vents.
Some, however, may condense on cold
surfaces, e.g. the oven door. This is normal.
Oven started accidentally with no food inside:
The appliance must not be used if there is no
food inside. This can be very dangerous.
