IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
EN
– Do not use the oven as storage space. Do not leave any paper
products, cutlery or food inside the oven when it is not in use.
– Metal food and drinks containers must not be used in the
microwave oven.
11. Heating drinks in microwave ovens can cause delayed eruptive
boiling. You should therefore take great care when handling the
container.
12. Do not fry food in the oven. Hot oil can damage oven parts and
can also cause skin burns.
13. Eggs in their shells and whole hard-boiled eggs must not be heated
in microwave ovens as they may explode, even after heating has
ended. Perforate any food with a thick skin – e.g. potatoes, whole
squashes, apples and chestnuts – before cooking.
14. The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars must be
stirred or shaken, and the temperature checked, before serving.
This is to avoid burns.
15. Cutlery can become hot because of the transfer of heat from the
heated food. You may need to use oven gloves when handling the
cutlery. Check the cutlery to make sure it can be used in a micro-
wave oven. Only use cutlery and accessories that are suitable for
microwave use.
16. The oven must be cleaned regularly to remove any food residue.
Failure to keep the oven clean can lead to wear and tear on the
surfaces, which shortens the lifespan of the oven and may result
in a hazardous situation.
17. This appliance is intended for domestic and similar use, e.g.:
staff kitchens in stores, offices and other workplaces; by
customers at hotels, motels and other home-like environments;
farms, youth hostels and similar environments.
