3. Do not try to use with microwave oven with the door open. This
may result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important
not to disable or tamper with the safety interlock system.
4. Never place objects between the front of the oven and the door.
Never allow dirt or detergents to accumulate on the sealing surfaces.
5. Install and locate the oven only in accordance with the installation
instructions provided. The oven is not designed for built-in use.
There must be a clearance of at least 30 cm above the oven and
of at least 20 cm to adjacent walls.
6. Only use the appliance for its intended purpose as described in
this manual.
7. Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapours in this appliance. The
microwave oven is designed to heat food and drinks. Using the
oven to dry food or clothing, or to warm heating pads, slippers,
sponges, damp cloths, etc., may lead to a risk of damage, ignition
or fire. The oven is not designed for industrial or laboratory use.
8. Do not operate the oven when it is empty.
9. Do not use if the power cord or plug is damaged, if the appliance
is not working correctly, or if the appliance has been damaged
or dropped. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or qualified personnel in
order to avoid a hazard.
10. To reduce the risk of fire inside the oven, please note the fol-
lowing:
– Check the oven frequently when heating food in a plastic or
paper container, as it may catch fire.
– Remove any seals that contain metal wire from paper and plastic
bags before placing them in the oven.
– If any smoke is seen, switch off or unplug the appliance. Keep
the door closed to stifle any flames.
