USE OF DERMOCOSMETICS
1) Normal Skin:

- Flexible and elastic.
- The sebaceous glands function normally and have a good degree of hydration.
2) Dry Skin:
-In general, fine, irritable with tendency to redness.
-Tendency to wrinkles, lines and stretch marks of dehydration.
-The sebaceous secretion may be delayed and therefore the hydrophilic balance
disturbed.
-Vulnerable to air dry, cold or hot.
3) Oily Skin
-In general, thick , shine with enlarged pores.
-It has sometimes blackheads or acne.
-Excessive sweating.
-It may have redness and be irritable when subjected to aggressive treatments.
-The inflammation of the tissues is the result of the excessive oxidation of fatty
material.
4) Mixed skin:
-This is not a skin type , but an alteration of the dry and oily areas.
-The middle part (forehead, nose and chin) is generally more oily due to the abundance
of the active sebaceous glands.
-The drier areas are located around the eyes and on the face.
