4.6 Calibration of Probe inputs
The probe inputs on the
B/C100-ind2(4)
measuring modules can be calibrated by potentiometers. The
potentiometers are placed beside the probe input sockets and can be accessed from the outside.
Before starting calibration, change to the Programming mode and select the input you wish to calibrate
( A, ..., D ) in the
"Probe mixing"
menu. Assign to the input the multiplier 1 and all other inputs should be
disabled ( multiplier 0 ). If the programming is correct on the numeric display appears only the selected
input ( A, …, D ). Press
PRG/CAL
key to exit Programming mode, after the
"LOAD"
function is finished.
Press the
Ï
and
Ð
keys simultaneously for more than 3 seconds until the luminous displays
GAUGE1,
GAUGE2, GAUGE3
and
GAUGE4
start flashing. During the flashing the column gauge erases all offset
and gauge calibration values. Press the
ENTER
key
to quit the flashing. The column gauge is now again
in Measuring mode and can be calibrated using 2 masters ( Master pieces, Cal.-dongel, … ). During the
calibration the 2 masters are placed alternately in the measuring fixture and the difference between the 2
measured values is calculated. Use the relevant potentiometer to adjust the gain until the measured and
the real differences are the same. Press the
ENTER
key after calibration to return to the measuring
mode.
4.7 Working in Multi gauging measuring mode
In multi gauging measuring mode you can programme 1...4 different gauges. For each gauge probe
mixings, tolerances, master values, nominal values and resolutions can be programmed individual. In
manual gauge selection ( AUTO-Mode „oFF“ ) you can switch over from gauge 1...4 by the ENTER-key or
by foot switch. In automatic gauge selection ( AUTO-MODE „on“ ) an automatically switch over to the
active gauge is done by detection of changing measuring values. The gauge light fields shows the active
gauge. Not needed gauges can switched off.
Notice : If the same probe or analogue input (
A...D
) is selected on several gauges ( gauge 1...4 ) and
the
"Automatic gauge selection"
is switched on, the C100 shows
“Err. 8'
on the numeric
display. Because the probe or analogue input changes several gauges simultaneous the
automatic gauge switching can not work.
