1. Remove the Rear cover.

2. Remove the Top cover asm..

Then:

1. Open the top cover and remove the ribbon.

2. Disconnect the carriage motor fan connector from the

power

supply board

and remove the cable from the cable retainers

located in the rear part of the mechanical asm.

3. Disconnect the carriage motor connector from the

logic board

and remove the cable from the cable retainers located in the
rear part of the mechanical asm.
