Web browser and operating-system requirements
The Remote Supervisor Adapter II Web interface requires the Java
™
Plug-in 1.4 or
later and one of the following Web browsers:
v
Microsoft
®
Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later with the latest Service Pack
v
Netscape Navigator version 7.0 or later
v Mozilla version 1.3 or later (Remote Control features are supported only on the
Remote Supervisor Adapter II SlimLine with Refresh 2 firmware.)
Note: The Remote Disk feature works with only the Microsoft Windows 2000 and
Windows XP operating systems (for the Remote Supervisor Adapter II only,
not the Remote Supervisor Adapter II SlimLine).
The following server operating systems have USB support, which is required for the
Remote Control feature:

Microsoft Windows
®
Server 2003
v
Microsoft Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 or later
v
Red Hat Linux version 7.3
v
SUSE Linux version 8.0
v Novell NetWare 6.5
Note: The Remote Supervisor Adapter II Web interface does not support the
double-byte character set (DBCS) languages.
