Lift
the
front
cover
to
release
the
two
tabs
at
the
bottom
edge
of
the
cover.

Store
the
front
cover
in
a
safe
place.
Removing
the
top
cover
On
a
tower
model,
make
sure
that
you
unlock
or
remove
the
front
cover
before
you
remove
the
top
cover.
To
remove
the
top
cover,
complete
the
following
steps.

Read
the
safety
information
that

If
you
are
installing
or
replacing
a
non-hot-swap
component,
turn
off
the
server
and
all
peripheral
devices.
Disconnect
all
power
cords;
then,
disconnect
all
external
cables
from
the
server.
3.
Lift
the
plastic
cover-release
latch
near
the
edge
of
the
top
cover.
4.
Slide
the
top
cover
slightly
toward
the
rear
of
the
server;
the
cover
will
stop
after
moving
approximately
25
mm
(1
inch).
Lift
the
cover
off
the
server,
and
set
the
cover
aside.
Attention:
For
proper
cooling
and
airflow,
replace
the
top
cover
before
turning
on
the
server.
Operating
the
server
for
more
than
2
minutes
with
the
top
cover
removed
might
damage
server
components.
Removing
the
bezel
On
a
tower
model,
make
sure
that
you
unlock
or
remove
the
front
cover
before
you
remove
the
top
cover
and
bezel.
To
remove
the
bezel,
complete
the
following
