Replacement

1. Follow the removal steps in reverse order.
2. When you reinstall the printhead:

Push the printhead toward the platen with equal pressure on both sides of the printhead.

Tighten the printhead mounting screws while continuing to push the printhead toward the platen.

3. Perform the AFTA service check. See “Standard AFTA Service Check and Adjustment” on page 285.
