Chapter 3. Monitoring the 10G Network Active Bypass unit
from the management interface
You can use either the secure web-based management interface or the command-line interface to set and
to manage most of the configuration options for the 10G Network Active Bypass unit. This chapter
explains the configuration options that are available for you to manage through the web-based
management interface.
System status
Use the Status page to view system, power supply, network segment, and network TAP port status for
the 10G Network Active Bypass unit.
The System section provides the following general system status:

The Segment status section shows whether each port in a segment is in an inline or bypass state. For each
segment, the following information is provided:

The Analyzer section shows analyzer ports for dedicated mirroring of the network traffic (providing
SPAN and TAP functions). For each Analyzer port, the following information is provided:
