Keep the tool clean
.
Keep the ventilation slots clean
and free
from obstructions. If available, blow compressed air into the
vents to clear any internal dust (safety goggles must be worn
when undertaking this process). Accumulation of dust in the
motor or on the base may cause a malfunction of the tool.
Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your tool.
Wipe it clean with a dry cloth. Your power tool requires no
additional lubrication.
Cleaning covers or guards;
When accumulation of dust on the
cover looks excessive, loosen the clamp and remove the cover.
Wash off accumulation of dust inside the cover and wipe it and
reinstall. Cleaning of the wheel could be done as well.
We recommend using the original package for covering the
product or suitable means to protect it against dust.
Before and after each use, check the product and accessories (or
attachments) for wear and damage.
Inspecting cutting wheel;
Check the cutting blade or wheel
carefully for cracks or damage before and after each use.
Continuing to use a dull blade may cause a dangerous kickback
and/or motor overload. Dressing could be suitable or replace with
a new blade as soon as it no longer cuts effectively.
Dressing diamond wheel
:
If the cutting action of the diamond
wheel begins to diminish, use an old discarded coarse grit grinder
wheel for dressing (There are other means as well).
Inspecting the supply cord
; Do not pull or carry the tool by the
electric cord or allow its contact with edges, sharp elements,
rough surfaces, oil or chemicals that may damage its flexible and
insulating properties. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
