ERROR CODES
These error codes are available to aid in diagnosing game problems. An error will be indicated by red dots
that show up on the seven segment displays on the control panel.
To find out what the errors are, HIT THE ACCOUNTING BUTTON when there are no credits in the game.
The game will then automatically display all of the errors on the control panel. To exit the error reporting
mode, hit the accounting button once again.
1. CPU MEMORY - If there is a problem with the memory on the Main board CPU, this error will be displayed.
Replace the Main P.C. Board.
2. NOT USED
3. UP ERROR - This error indicates a problem with the up sensor not closing. This could be due to the follow-
ing:
A) Bad up micro switch
B) Bad up switch wiring
C) Bad motor preventing the claw from hitting up switch
D) Bad motor wiring
E) Jammed or broken string
F) Bad motor driver board or Main P.C. Board
4. DOWN ERROR - This error indicates a problem with the down sensor not closing. This could be due to the
following:
A) Bad down micro switch
B) Bad down switch wiring
C) Slider and spring for pulley binding or broken.
D) Bad motor preventing the claw from hitting down switch
E) Bad motor wiring
F) Jammed or broken string
G) Bad motor driver board or Main P.C. Board
5. NOT USED
6. NOT USED
7. CENTER, LEFT AND RIGHT - This error indicates that the computer can not find the centering switch on
the game. This could be due to the following:
A) Bad centering sensor
B) Bad sensor wiring
C) Broken Drive ring
D) Bad Motor
E) Bad motor wiring
F) Loose pulley
G) Bad driver board or Main P.C. Board
