Move the ignition switch to the
ON
(I) position.

Place the machine on flat level ground and slowly pull the recoil start handle until you
feel resistance.

Then pull the recoil handle swiftly until the engine starts.
DO NOT
allow the recoil handle to snap back, return it to the start position slowly.

COLD START
: As the engine begins to warm, move the choke lever
DOWN
to the
open position to allow the engine to run smoothly.
5.0
Release the throttle trigger and allow the engine to idle under no load for 20 to 30
seconds.
5.1
Move the ignition switch to the OFF (O) position.
5.2
The engine will now stop.
5.3
Allow the engine to cool completely before storing, refuelling or carrying out any
maintenance.
