Loop the rest of the chain around the chain sprocket.
Make sure the chain sits in the sprocket teeth and that the chain adjuster pin is in
line with the lower hole on the chain bar (highlighted).

Refit the chain sprocket cover.
NOTE
: Only tighten finger tight until the chain has been fully adjusted.

Lift the tip of the chainsaw bar up to simulate the cutting position.

Turn the chain tension adjustment screw clockwise until the chain begins to pull tight on
the bottom of the chain bar.

To adjust to the correct chain tension, gently pull the chain away from the bottom of
the guide bar until the drive link just remains engaged in the groove of the chain bar and
you can still freely rotate the chain by hand.

Once the correct adjustment has been made, tighten the chain sprocket cover nut
securely.
