4.5. Deleting Entries
Existing phonebook entries may be deleted one-by-one. Alternatively, the complete
phonebook contents may be deleted in a single action.
1) Press button

, to select Phonebook Menu mode.
2) Turn knob

until
Browse Entries
is displayed.
3) Press knob
C
then turn knob
C
until the existing entry to be deleted is displayed.
4) Press knob

The display shows
Delete Entry?

The existing entry is deleted and the display shows
Compete
.
6) If the entire phonebook contents are to be deleted, turn knob

displayed.

appear on the display as the knob is rotated.
8) If knob

is displayed, all previously stored names and
numbers will be deleted.

4.6. Editing Name and Number Entries
Existing phonebook entry name and/or numbers may be edited.
1) Press button

, to select Phonebook Menu mode.
2) Turn knob

Browse Entries
is displayed.

until the existing entry to be edited is displayed.
4) Press knob

appears on the display and the editing cursor

indicating that the first character of the name can be entered.
6) Turn knob

to change the editing cursor to display the character to be used as the first
letter of the name of the phonebook entry. Press knob

to enter that character.
7) The cursor flashes next to the entered characters indicating the next character is ready for
selection. To delete the previous character, turn knob
C
until the back arrow

appears
on the display and then press knob

8) Repeat the operations in step 6) above until the name editing is complete. Turn knob

until the editing cursor

appears at the end of the name.
9) Press knob

for 2 seconds. The name is now stored.
10) The display now shows
Number Edit
. When the cursor appears

on the display, turn

to change the editing cursor to display the number to be used as the first number
of the entry. Press knob

to enter that number.
11) The cursor flashes next to the entered numbers indicating the next number is ready for
selection. To delete the previous number, turn knob

until the back arrow

on the display and then press knob

12) Repeat the operations in step 6) above until the number editing is complete. Turn knob

until the editing cursor

appears at the end of the number.
13) Press knob

for 2 seconds. The edited entry is now stored.
Note:
If the name entry is not to be edited, press knob
C
for 2 seconds to advance to
number editing. If the number entry does not require editing, press knob
C
for 2
seconds to finalize the editing process of that entry.
