WARNING:
o Do not close a sunroof if anyone's hands,
arms or body are between the sliding
glass and the sunroof sash, as this could
result, in an injury.
o Do not place your head or arms out of
the sunroof opening at any time.
CAUTION:
o Do not open the sunroof in severely cold
temperature or when it is covered with
ice or snow.
o Periodically remove any dirt that may
have accumulated on the guide rails.

Manual Operation of the Sunroof
If the sunroof does not electrically operate:
1. Remove the round plug in the rear of the roof
panel.
2. Insert the hexagonal head wrench into the
socket. This wrench can be found in the
vehicle trunk.
3. Turn the wrench clockwise to open or coun-
terclockwise to close.

o Press the button again until the sunroof
opens to desired position.
o To close the sunroof, press and hold the
button located in front of the overhead con-
sole.
o After washing the car or after there is
rain, be sure to wipe off any water that is
on the sunroof before operating it.
WARNING:
Do not place anything else on the drink
holder. Such objects can be thrown out,
possibly injuring persons in the vehicle dur-
ing sudden braking or in an accident.

Opening or Closing the Sunroof
The sunroof may be electrically tilted and opened
or closed at the same time.
o To open the sunroof, press the button lo-
cated in front of the overhead console. The
rear part of the sunroof will move slightly.

SUNROOF (If Installed)
The sunroof can be operated with the ignition
key in the "ON" position
