when it is able to carry out the
regeneration of the resins. This is possible
ONLY when the controller “feels” that the
cam is correctly positioned at the end of
the run.
IMPORTANT ! The Standard Electronic
Controller allows operations on the
keypad to be carried out even if the cam
is out of the position of the end of the run.
It is therefore possible to carry out
programming operations before being
installed. There must be the end of run
when the Standard Electronic Controller
is to be put “in service”, that is when the
regenerations are to be carried out. No
regeneration may be carried out until the
Standard Electronic Controller has
positioned the cam at the end of the run.
4.6 – Test of the automatic start of the
regeneration
To test the automatic start of the
regeneration, proceed as follows: - In
steps 1 and 2 of tab. 3 program 00.00 as
starting time of regeneration. - Abilitate
at least one day of the regeneration (e.g.
Wednesday ). - In steps 1 and 2 of tab. 6
program 23.59 come local time. - In step
3 of tab. 6 put in as day the day previous
to that programmed as the day for the
start of the regeneration (e.g. if the active
day is Wednesday, put in Tuesday ). - Wait
for the clock to read midnight. The start
the micro switch of the end of the run is
correctly positioned in its slot.
2. Check that the metallic lever is
correctly worked by the notched disc (
this can be checked by turning the cam
by hand );
3. Check that the connecting wires of
the micro switch are correctly inserted
both on the micro itself, and in the supply
connector.
4. If a multimeter can is available, check
the electrical continuity of the connecting
wires of the micro switch and check that
the two wires connected to the micro
switch are closed when the cam is on
the position of the end of the run.
5. In order to avoid having to carry out
the steps above, if a second box which
is definitely working is available, take the
controller out of the box which is not
working and place it in the box which is
working. If the motor continues to run
despite the cam being positioned on the
end.
7.3 – …the motor does not respect the
rotation times?
1. With reference to step 11, tab. 4, check
that the network frequency programmed
corresponds to that in use
2. With reference to step 12, tab 4, check
that the cycle programmed corresponds
to that which is actually required (tab. 5)
of the regeneration must be immediate.
5 – WHAT TO DO IF…
Shown below are a few basic operations
for solving small problems which may arise
during use of the Standard Electronic
C o n t r o l l e r. A s a g e n e r a l r u l e ,
independently of the type of controller,
the anomaly shown should be checked
by replacing the electronic card with a
new one, or in any case which is working
well (obviously within the limits of the
practical possibilities). The replacement
of the electronic card is already of help
in pinpointing the real cause of the defect.
If the suggestions given here do not
provide a solution to the problem, please

5.1 – …the Standard Electronic Controller
does not come on?
1. Wait for at least 5 seconds for the
autoreset operation of the circuit.
2. Press the hidden reset key;
3. Check that the transformer has been
correctly inserted into the electrical socket;
4. Check that the socket has the correct
electric voltage supply;
5. Removing the front panel, check that
the transformer wires are correctly inserted
into the connector J111.
7.2 – …the motor does not stop?
1. Removing the front panel, check that
