If the batteries become discharged and require a boost
from another charged battery, follow these procedures
carefully:
a. Always connect the positive jumper cable to the
positive terminal of the discharged battery and the
negative jumper cable to the negative terminal.
b. Always connect the jumper cable that is the ground
cable last.
c. Always connect the jumper cables to the dis-
charged battery before connecting them to the
booster battery.
Pre--Cleaner For Engine Air Filter
(See FIGURE 15.)
Clean the pre--cleaner for the air filter as necessary. Re-
move the cover for the pre--cleaner, then remove the dirt
from the bowl. Install the bowl and cover.

Air Filters (See FIGURE 16.)
There are air filters for the engine and the air compressor.
Clean or replace the air filter as necessary. Use com-
pressed air to clean the filter element. Air pressure must
