Step 8
:
After all entries have been completed, the user presses
<CR>
to display the Serial
Numbers of both meters and make a selection. The USIP responds with the
following message (as is shown in
Step 2
above):
A=S/N 1000-00
B=S/N 2000-00
A, B or S? _
For this display (as in
Step 2
above) ‘
S
’ is an entry that will provide a
s
ummary of
the rating(s) and ranges for each meter.
Entering ‘
S
’ will show the following results (numbers shown are arbitrary and are
for example):
----------------------------
A=S/N 1000-00
3 Ratings
Range 1: n<1.23
2.3456[n]+0.2345
Range 2: 1.23<n<4.56
1.2345[n]-0.1234
Range 3: n>4.56
2.3456[n]-0.2345
----------------------------
B=S/N 2000-00
1 Rating
0.1234[n]+0.0123
----------------------------
The summary listing shows meter ‘
A
’ having three equations to describe the rating
while meter ‘
B
’ shows only one equation for the rating. When the summary has
been displayed, the user enters any key entry including the ‘space bar’ key,
<CR>,
or ‘
ESC
’. Entering
<CR>
or ‘
ESC
’ causes the program to end. Entering any
character or the ‘space bar’ will move to display the Serial Numbers of both
meters and make a selection as shown in
Step 2
above.
