2.5. Calibration of dosing pumps
The dosing pumps are provided with a display for dosing
efficiency that is adjusted ex works to an operation pressure
of 3 bar.
The pump capacity can be set to the actual operation
parameters by calibration.
A measuring cylinder is required for the purpose of
calibration.
Calibration must be carried out in accordance with chapter
V / point 7
– commissioning of dosing pump.
2.6 Installation of chemical tubs
Requirements:
- The plant has to be de-aired completely and filled with
water.

a) The dosing pumps have to be stopped with the
“Start/Stop” button and the
plant must be switched off
with “OFF” button (red LED lights)
b) The chemical tubs shall be placed in the respective
collection tank.
Caution!
Chemicals in the following concentration
in original cans shall be used only:
Hydrochloric acid (HCL) 9 %
Sodium chloride solution (NaClO
2
) 7.5%
The chemical tubs have to be placed in
the correct collection tub and connected
correctly!

BLACK left side Sodium Chloride Solution
That refers to the arrangement of the
dosing pumps as well.
Descriptions / colour marks and
nameplates have to be considered!
A highly-explosive chlorine dioxide air-
mixture is produced should the
chemicals be in contact outside the
reactor.
