The pipe layout inside the unit is designed as a ring
pipe.
The flow direction must be
checked when being installed to
a water supply!
The unit must be operated in one direction only. Should
the unit be installed backwards, the non-return valves will
stop the flow.

Sampling / Discharge tap
A discharge tap (DN 8) with hose connection shall be
provided at the lowest position in the ring pipe for the
purpose of residual discharge for maintenance work.
The water taken from this connection must be
discharged to drain and not used for any other
application.
Note!
➢
All pipe connections shall be provided strain-free. All subsequent pipes
must be equipped with clamps and supports where necessary.
➢
Hoses must not be squeezed or bent and hose connections must be firmly
secured.
➢
The discharge line shall be provided in a corresponding inclination from
connection point to drain.
➢
Chlorine dioxide return lines (from the rotameter panel if it is a split tank)
should be fitted directly into the tank (one to each compartment in split tank).
These should be fed through the roof of the tank and be away from the ball
cocks, away from the tank outlets and below the low water level.
➢
The wastewater must be allowed to drain off without backflow. This can be
achieved with a tundish and a sufficient air gap.
Backflow is not allowed for hygienic reasons!
