Note:
•
Install the steam manifold horizontal with it ensure a clean
steam out.
•
Maximum allowable pressure in the air duct is 1200 Pa.
•
On the return side, th e ma ximum allowable nega tive air
pressure is 500 Pa. Placement of the steam manifold on
the supply side of the air duct is preferred.
•
With high-pressu re air-cond itioning systems, the un it's
drain ho se system must be modified depending on the
over p ressure. W hen this is the ca se please consult
HygroMatik.
•
Install t he steam m anifold as c lose as p ossible t o t he
steam humidifier in orde r to minimize steam loss t hrough
condensation.
•
Depending on the design of the air duct, additional moun-
ting of the steam manifold may be required. Shown inst al-
lation and position dimensions are based on experimental
values. S pecial environment al con ditions could re quire
adjustments.
•
We note that th e German Association of Engineers (VDI)
Guideline 6022 specifies a water drain within the absorp-
tion distance inside the air duct.
•
For steam ba th ap plications: Install the ste am manifold
safe from contact with people in order to prevent injuries or
burns. Do not install the steam manifold near a tempera-
ture sensor or inaccurate readings may result.
•
Air flow rates o ver 3m/s can possibly lead to conden sate
drainage problems at the steam ma nifolds which may
require adaptation measures.

* special lenght on request
Note:
At len gths of 600 mm or mo re, st eam manifolds are
shipped with an extra alternative mounting fixture (Nut, M8) on
the closed end.
